Back in the dorm for summer, how unfun. Hopefully I can get some things done, but it's slim.

Wow. I am sorry that I've left this place to die, I really haven't been on the ball lately. I have a commission up, so I'll be able to post that here, if I can finish it. I'll post a scrap of the sketch when I get a chance.
Related to the commission, I'm a member of a weekly (or so) radio show hosted by Perdue College Radio. Yes, I'm in a radio show that exists several states from where I am. The show, Mic Check, is on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 9:00, hosted by myself, and my friends Megan and Nick (~X52). See their site for more details. You can tune in Via here. Wow, only two weeks left, and then I can finally go back home. I miss everybody. :< I miss my giant tele as well. Eh, enough with that, today I come with actual updates!

Wow it's been a while, in exactly a month, I shall be back home, with Sorashi-tan. Able to work at a more regular pace (Notice I haven't finished a decent looking project since I got here). Let me say this much, Disgaea DS is a curse if you aren't prepared for it. Everytime drawing happens, I remember I have it, and start playing, until "Just one more turn, oh is it seven in the morning already?" Syndrome occurs. It's too powerful to be portable.
In other news, I'm going to complain about Microsoft for a while. Not for Windows Vista, which I endorse completely... I've more of a problem with their Games for Windows. I like having PC Games, my problem is their "Windows LIVE" Bullshit. Silver Membership is free now, mainly because theres only like 4 games that use Windows LIVE. Here's the big issue though, if you have a friend who plays a game via Xbox Live, you can add him to your buddy list, but fuckall if you can play with him, or even SEND READABLE MESSAGES TO HIM. Mircosoft, If you're going to make anything with Live in the name now, at least make it seem like I could connect to other iterations of Live, I mean honestly, how many people are going to be playing the PC version of Gears of War? We really need a cross-platform online service that can be used for more than just one title (See Square's PlayOnline). You dominate the online gaming console market for the most part, and for all intents and purposes, Microsoft is the entire PC Market. So maybe make it as if theres a reason to own the (superior) PC versions of games, I don't want to buy something knowing I can't play against someone with a 360. XBox Live is probably one of the biggest online communities ever created, while Windows Live is dwarfed by its low amount of games, god forbid you mix the two so I can play with one of the biggest collection of egotistic assholes on the face of the earth!</rant>

Damn, it's been a little while since I touched Photoshop, or at least it seemed long. Sorashi (Which is to say, my computer) was getting a minor repair which somehow took almost a week to complete. Needless to say, I missed everything, but at least I've finally completed Pikmin 2 now. I'll be working on "Engelish" as much as I can, I want it done before I leave for SCAD. Speaking of which...
As I've stated before, I'm leaving for SCAD on the 11th, but before that, I'm going to get raped by wind circles of hate called hurricanes. What fun. Not to mention that I'm frightened as hell of going to SCAD, to say nothing of taking Sorashi there, seeing the crime and the curfew, maintaining my life around a daywalker's sleep schedule, and the possibility of meeting Tyson "Rittz" Hesse while I'm there. I'll add the deviation post right here if I manage to finish it before leaving. Once I'm at SCAD, I'll make an entirely new journal post.

"NekoCrissyCrossy" is finally done. Yay for mind-warping cute neko shotas. As promised, I've also put up the rough draft of the picture Chris decided on. Speaking of shotas, I've taken a liking to playing as Bridget in Guilty Gear XX: AC, but onto the thumb post...

However, stuff was done just a moment ago, so you don't have to wait for it! I drew three drafts for the "NekoChrissyCrossy" drawing, and let Chris choose which one gets coloured. The other two are in the scraps, and the chosen one will be put into the scraps along with the coloured product. So yay~

A couple things are bothering me as of late, I checked out my gallery stats not too long ago, and its at all lovely to see how things are pieced together. Excluding the ones I've done since I was in #AA, There's very clearly a pattern: My most viewed work is one of three things (as of late): Fanart (mainly Smash Brothers), shoved down peoples throats, or contains the tags 'ecchi' or 'loli' in the properties. Most of my originals that I've worked my ass off on typically goes ignored, and for what? For a shitty Ganon HRC image? Don't even get me started on the Countdown I put up, that got more views than my entire effing gallery combined, while something I've worked on for say, six months, goes by maybe a handful of views. Likely the only exception recently is "Eyecatch", and just as likely because I featured it since forever ago. Ugh. I need a Dr.Pepper.
A new deviation in a little over a week? By Gx? You kid! Surely I don't, but it's been quite a while since I've done that. Not that the three or so people still looking at my stuff seem to mind. I'll update the Art Progression bit accordingly after work.
